The companies under this project can participate in specialized consultations and training offered by the project partners, and will gain access to synchrotron radiation sources to test their innovative ideas. The offer of SOLARIS to industrial users is described <a href=\"https:\/\/synchrotron.uj.edu.pl\/en_GB\/industry\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pl.linkedin.com\/company\/barcelona-synchrotron-park?trk=organization-update_share-update_actor-text\"><strong>Barcelona Synchrotron Park<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; BSP<\/a> &#8211; BSP is a new science and technology park, the aim of which is to offer companies based on new technologies a privileged environment and a special location for their activities in Europe.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.toyota.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The <strong>TOYOTA<\/strong><\/a><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tytlabs.com\/tech\/tec4.html\">\u00a0<\/a><\/strong> company has its own measuring line on the SPring-8 synchrotron. The line maintained by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tytlabs.co.jp\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> TOYOTA Central R&amp;D Labs., Inc.<\/a> is dedicated to measurements related to the automotive industry. On the SPring-8 synchrotron website you will find information about the capabilities of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tytlabs.co.jp\/en\/review\/issue\/files\/462_001nonaka.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TOYOTA Beamline BL33XU<\/a> beamline, which enables time-resolved XAFS measurements.<br \/>\nA special issue of Toyota <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tytlabs.com\/english\/review\/rev382e.html\">R&amp;D Review of Toyota CRDL<\/a><\/em> is entitled Materials Analysis Using Synchrotron Radiation. Companies such as <a href=\"https:\/\/sciencebusiness.net\/news\/72305\/Companies-queue-for-%27beam-time%27\">Pfizer and Rolls-Royce are lining up for the beam time.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.esrf.eu\/Industry\">The Synchrotron <strong>ESRF<\/strong><\/a> offers its experimental lines to the business sector. In the leaflet informing about cooperation with the business, ESRF mentions, among others: Astex Therapeutics (UK), AstraZeneca (UK &amp; Swe), Bayer Schering Pharma (Ger), Corning (Fr), Daihatsu (Japan), GlaxoSmithKline (UK), Johnson Matthey ( UK), L&#8217;Or\u00e9al (Fr), Merck (Ger, NL), Pfizer (UK), Procter &amp; Gamble (UK) Statoil (Nor), Toyota Motor Europe (Belgium), Toyota CRDL (Japan), Unilever (NL) .<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.slc.saga-u.ac.jp\/english\/about\"><strong>SAGA<\/strong>\u00a0(SAGA-LS)<\/a>\u00a0 is a compact third generation synchrotron radiation source built in the city of Tosu in Saga Prefecture in northern Kyushu, Japan. SAGA-LS is the first synchrotron radiation source in Japan that was built by the local prefectural government. The lines of this synchrotron are dedicated mainly to industrial applications.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/global-sei.com\/company\/press\/2017\/01\/prs108.html\"><strong>Sumitomo<\/strong>\u00a0Electric Industries, Ltd.<\/a>\u00a0 built two lines at the SAGA synchrotron for its own use. The company plans to use dedicated lines to accelerate development in many areas, e.g. improving the performance of new products, such as redox flow batteries, optical fibers, and improving the quality of existing products.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"\" lang=\"pl\"><span class=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/lyncean-techologies-inc-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Lyncean Technologies<\/strong>, Inc.<\/a><\/span><\/span> has launched compact synchrotron radiation sources on the market.<\/p>\n<p>The American company <span class=\"\" lang=\"pl\"><span class=\"\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bestmedical.com\/news\/JACMP_July25_to_Aug21_2018_JACMP_BPT_PTCOG.pdf\"><strong>Best Medical<\/strong>\u00a0International, Inc.<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0offers synchrotrons for medical purposes.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"\" lang=\"pl\"><span class=\"\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ptb.de\/cms\/en\/ptb\/fachabteilungen\/abt7\/metrology-light-source.html\">The Metrology<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ptb.de\/cms\/en\/ptb\/fachabteilungen\/abt7\/metrology-light-source.html\">\u00a0Light Source<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/span> is a low-energy synchrotron for metrology purposes, built near the BESSY II synchrotron in Berlin. it was built for its own needs by the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), the German national institute of metrology, which uses synchrotron radiation for metrology. In this way, PTB expanded its activity with its own storage ring, designed and built to meet the requirements of metrology.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/xds-oxford.com\/products\/beamline-components\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>XDS Oxford<\/strong>\u00a0Ltd.<\/a> is a company with many years of tradition, dealing with the construction of synchrotron lines.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bnl.gov\/ps\/industrialCollaborators\/Industries-Served-by-NSLS.asp\"><strong>The National Synchrotron Light Source<\/strong>\u00a0(NSLS)<\/a> provides a list of companies that perform research on this synchrotron.
