Celem Polskiego Towarzystwa Promieniowania Synchrotronowego<\/b> (PTPS) jest dzia\u0142alno\u015b\u0107 naukowa i o\u015bwiatowa, w szczeg\u00f3lno\u015bci wspieranie rozwoju bada\u0144 naukowych z wykorzystaniem promieniowania synchrotronowego oraz popularyzacja tego rodzaju bada\u0144 w Polsce.\u00a0<\/p>

Towarzystwo by\u0142o r\u00f3wnie\u017c zaanga\u017cowane w organizacj\u0119 projekt\u00f3w, popularyzacj\u0119 i lobbing na rzecz budowy polskiego synchrotronu SOLARIS<\/a> w Krakowie. Ponadto PTPS zaanga\u017cowane jest w utrzymanie polskiego wk\u0142adu w badania na\u00a0\u00a0europejskim synchrotronie ESRF<\/a> w Grenoble oraz rentgenowskim laserze na swobodnych elektronach XFEL<\/a> w Hamburgu.<\/p>

Od chwili za\u0142o\u017cenia \u00a0w roku 1991 PTPS organizowa\u0142o konferencje mi\u0119dzynarodowe \u2013 tradycyjnie by\u0142 to ISSRNS (International School on Synchrotron Radiation in Natural Science)\u00a0 \u2013 i krajowe \u2013 KSUPS czyli Krajowe Sympozjum U\u017cytkownik\u00f3w Promieniowania Synchrotronowego. Od roku 2020\u00a0 konferencje krajowe \u0142\u0105czymy z\u00a0 SOLARIS User Meeting.<\/p>

Od roku 2002 PTPS regularnie wydaje czasopismo Synchrotron Radiation In Natural Science<\/a>. W roku 2024 staraniem towarzystwa ukaza\u0142a si\u0119 w formacie otwartego dost\u0119pu ksi\u0105\u017cka pt. \u201cPromieniowanie synchrotronowe w fizyce i chemii cia\u0142a sta\u0142ego \u2013 wybrane zagadnienia<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
