{"id":17638,"date":"2025-10-24T06:43:25","date_gmt":"2025-10-24T05:43:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/synchrotron.org.pl\/?p=17638"},"modified":"2025-10-24T06:43:25","modified_gmt":"2025-10-24T05:43:25","slug":"nephews-new-call-for-internships-deadline-october-31","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/synchrotron.org.pl\/?p=17638&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"NEPHEWS &#8211; new call for internships &#8211; deadline October 31"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"block-text-full__desc\">\n<div data-ogsc=\"black\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">The second call for internships under the <b data-ogsc=\"\">NEPHEWS project\u00a0<\/b>within the\u00a0<b data-ogsc=\"\">ESR support program<\/b>\u00a0has now been launched.<\/p>\n<p data-ogsb=\"white\"><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(36, 36, 36)\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">The\u00a0<b data-ogsc=\"\">ESR programme in NEPHEWS<\/b>\u00a0allows for support of\u00a0<b data-ogsc=\"\">16 young scientists<\/b>\u00a0who will make working visits that will allow them to get to know the Research Infrastructures (RIs) from many perspectives. Participants accepted into the ESR Programme will get a practical short-term (up to 1 week) internship at a Synchrotron (SR), Free Electron Laser (FEL) or Neutron (N) facilities, gathering knowledge of different research techniques and on their applicability to different research fields, getting first practical experiences and gaining a better understanding of access policy, offer and other aspects of the facilities\u2019 activities, such as technology transfer or innovation stimulation through individualized programmes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-ogsb=\"white\"><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(36, 36, 36)\">The NEPHEWS project will support researchers denoted as R1 and R2:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-ogsb=\"white\">\n<li data-ogsc=\"rgb(36, 36, 36)\">R1: First Stage Researcher (up to the point of PhD),<\/li>\n<li data-ogsc=\"rgb(36, 36, 36)\">R2: Recognised Researcher (PhD holders or equivalent who are not yet fully independent).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div data-ogsc=\"rgb(36, 36, 36)\"><span data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"white\"><b data-ogsc=\"\">The deadline for the application is 31<sup data-ogsc=\"\">st<\/sup>\u00a0of October!
