THE MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE society
The aim of the Society is scientific and educational activity, in particular supporting the development of scientific research using the synchrotron radiation and popularization of this type of research in Poland.
SCIENCE AND EDUCATION
Organizing and co-organizing open seminars and conferences to disseminate knowledge about synchrotron radiation and research opportunities related to its use.
Organizing schools for young scientists and students with the participation of Polish and foreign lecturers who use synchrotron radiation.
Inviting and organizing visits of foreign scientists to Poland and delegating representatives of the Society abroad.
DEVELOPMENT OF RESEARCH
Assistance in organizing access of Polish scientists to sources of the synchrotron radiation.
Maintaining scientific contacts with synchrotron radiation societies in other countries.
Support and reward research with the use of synchrotron radiation.
Creating sections and committees to perform specific tasks.
POPULARIZATION
Conducting popularizing activities through publications, lectures, courses, trips, supporting the organization of scientific and educational competitions, etc.
Collecting and providing information on international synchrotron radiation schools and meetings.
Organizing financial aid enabling young scientists to participate in international schools, conferences and meetings.
Publishing activities.
